Create your own art papers to use in your art using a Gel Plate. The Gel Plate is a monoprinting technique. With a monoprint you can never reproduce the exact same image twice. In other words, you create one unique print from the pull of paint on the plate. Paint and other art mediums are applied to the gel plate then the designs created on the plate are transferred to paper. It is a fun, relatively easy method to create unique papers for your art. The possibilities are endless. Supply list.

Vitreous painting is known to exist before medieval times and is often displayed in stained glass windows. Vitreous painting layers glass paints and colored glass, firing the glass between 1100F and 1450F for each major step. Some key differences from other types of painting are techniques needed and consideration of translucence/light in the design (in addition to reflected light). Two artists of note are Marc Chagall and Louis Comfort Tiffany.
